A Virtual Memorial is a website created to honor, remember, and share stories and photographs of those we love and have lost.

Your loved one's Virtual Memorial captures the essence of who they were and provides a place to share your cherished memories. A Virtual Memorial can be built over time, you might want to begin with your initial thoughts and feelings or a Eulogy if one has been written. You can then add stories, recollections, photographs and even videos over time. A Virtual Memorial Website provides a wonderful way to preserve memories for future generations of friends and family.

How much does a Virtual Memorial cost?

We believe every person should be remembered. Virtual Memorials has and will always continue to provides a place where every person can be honored free of charge. Free memorials consists of a text main page and the guest book for friends and family to view reflections posted.

For a one time fee of $55.00 you may create a full featured Virtual Memorial which includes unlimited text, photos, a slide show, custom pages and much more. View Features.

How can others access the Memorial Website?

Each Memorial Website is assigned a unique internet address which includes your loved one's name (example: Robert-Peace.virtual-memorials.com). Once you create a Memorial Website you can invite family and friends to your memorial so that they can access it directly. Friends and Family can also look up a loved one using the search fields.

Who edits and updates the Virtual Memorial Website?

When you create your Virtual Memorial Website you will enter your email address and choose a password to edit the memorial. The password you choose provides you exclusive access to the editing section. The editing password is kept confidential and can only be sent to the email address on file for the Virtual Memorial Website. Once you are in edit mode you can add photos, music, text or change and delete anything on any page of the Virtual Memorial Website. Visitors to your Virtual Memorial can add messages that appear in the guest book of your memorial. You will have the ability to alter or remove any guest book comment within the edit section of your memorial.

How long does it take to create a Virtual Memorial Website?

It takes less than two minutes to create the basics of the Memorial. After that, you can continue to add and edit content at any time over as much time as you'd like.

How long do memorials stay online?

Your memorial will be online for at least one year. Virtual Memorials does not remove any memorial unless it is requested by the family or contains inappropriate content. Your memorial stays here for as long as virtual memorials is online. We do NOT promise forever. No person or website can make that guarantee. We have been online since 1996 -
